If you have been following the political situation ever since Joe kicked off his campaign Thursday night with a rousing State of the Union speech, you’ve heard about how that idiot from Alabama, Katie Britt, completely made up a story about a teen-age girl being sex trafficked over the border and being raped and assaulted, all of which happened in Mexico before the poor kid ever got into the States.
What was interesting about Britt’s phony description of an alleged sexual assault which happened because Biden is letting everyone into the country, a comment which goes all the way back to Trump’s 2015 kick-off of his Presidential campaign when he said that Mexico was sending us all those criminals and rapists, was the very graphic and detailed description of the sexual assaults visited on this teenage girl, even if the whole thing was made up.
Because now what we have is a GOP campaign narrative which not only focuses on the border mess, but also pushes a detailed description of illegal sexual behavior into high relief.
Which is why I found last night’s X-Twitter post by our good friend Shannon Watts who said this: “Sen Katie Britt says sexual assault is the worst thing that can happen to a woman while encouraging Americans to vote for a convicted sexual predator.”
The more I think about Shannon’s tweet, the more I think she’s hit the veritable nail right on the veritable head. Because the jury which found last May that Trump defamed Jean Carroll and ordered him to come up with $5 million bucks to settle her complaint, also found that she was telling the truth about how Trump tried to (pardon my old-fashioned language) get into her pants.
So, if and when Joe believes that it’s time to really stick the knife into Trump, why not make his history of being a sex predator a central message of the 2024 campaign? After all, go back to the 2016 campaign and you’ve got Trump admitting to that kind of behavior in his ‘locker room’ conversation with Billy Bush.
And the reason that Trump got away with his vulgar misogynist bragging on that occasion was because his opponent’s husband had indulged in the same kind of behavior and Hillary wasn’t about to drag that history into her campaign.
So, here’s a brief excerpt from Trump’s comments to Bush: “I moved on her, actually. I moved on her, and I failed. I’ll admit it. I did try and fuck her. She was married. I moved on her like a bitch. But I couldn’t get there. And she was married. Then all of a sudden I see her, she’s now got the big phony tits and everything. Grab ’em by the pussy. You can do anything.”
Now, how can you have Trump coming up with dough to pay off Jean Carroll for sexual misconduct and not run the Billy Bush tape? I mean, why give the guy a break?
I’ll tell you why.
Because Joe’s no Trump. It’s as simple as that.
But I’m no Joe. So, here’s what I’m going to do.
Sometime over the next couple of months I’m going to start a movement which will have as its motto: Do You Want a Sexual Predator in the White House?
I’ll sell hats and t-shirts, maybe even flags. For sure there will be bumper stickers and every dime will go directly as a donation to Joe’s campaign.
Thank you Shannon Watts for this brilliant idea.
