So, now it looks like that if Trump gets remembered for anything at all, it will be what is referred to as the ‘big lie.’ And too bad that one of the Democrats won’t trademark the phrase for 2024 the way that Trump trademarked MAGA when he ran in 2016.
Except there’s only one problem. Hillary was the one who told the big lie in 2016, except she didn’t start telling it until after she lost. Maybe if she had started promoting a ‘big lie’ narrative as a campaign slogan before the 2016 election, there wouldn’t have been a ‘save the steal’ movement, a January 6th riot or any of the other nonsense connected to Trump.
Want to know why fat-ass Hillary lost the election in 2016? Because Trump flipped three blue states – Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin – by 2/10ths of one percent of the total votes cast in those three states.
How many times did Hillary make public appearances in those three states during the final month of the 2016 campaign? Eight times. How many times did Trump show up in he same three states? Twenty-one times.
The picture above is Hillary’s last campaign rally held in Philadelphia in front of Independence Hall. Really impressive, right? Hillary lost Pennsylvania by 50,000 votes in 2016. Barack won Pennsylvania by 220,000 votes in 2012. How do you pull that one off?
About a month before the 2016 election, I began hearing that Florida, which Barack carried by 70,000 votes in 2012, was up for grabs. So, I called down to Florida to speak to someone who was conducting GOTV work in Dade and Broward Counties, because you can’t win Florida if you don’t carry Broward and Dade.
The office that was managing Hillary’s ground game in Dade and Broward Counties was located in Orlando. How do you manage a GOTV campaign when your office is 150 miles away from the city – Miami – where more than anyplace else you must get out the vote? You don’t.
At some point in 2017 I went out and bought Hillary’s book, What Happened. I couldn’t believe how arrogant, self-righteous, and full of shit she was. The book begins with a 30-page description of her staff, which she claimed was the best, most qualified and most experienced campaign staff of all time.
How could she lose an election with a staff like this, considering that Trump’s senior staff consisted of a swindler and scammer named Paul Manafort, a son-in-law named Jared Kushner who had no campaign experience of any kind, and an abusive drunk from New Hampshire named Corey Lewandowski whose sole campaign experience had been managing the primary campaign of an incumbent Senator from New Hampshire – which he lost?
Hillary lost because Trump made a deal with the Russians to intervene in the campaign. The Russians hacked email servers, they ran endless fake and phony Facebook ads, they planted all kinds of disinformation in various print and digital venues, they did everything they could to tilt the electoral outcome towards Trump.
Hillary’s post-election narrative was not only taken up by the entire liberal media, but also created much of the public clamor that resulted in Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian ‘collusion’ with the Trump campaign, which primarily took the form of a private, Russian company, the Internet Research Agency, posting phony ads on Facebook and other digital sites.
How much did this outfit spend on internet ads? Somewhere around $1.5 million bucks. Maybe another half-million was spent by the Russian government on hacking various mail servers and connecting to Wikileaks.
So, the Russian financial investment in interfering with the Hillary campaign probably ran a couple of million. Meanwhile, Hillary spent – ready? - $1.2 billion on her effort, which was far more than anyone had ever spent on a Presidential campaign. And what did she get for this massive outpouring of funds? What Grandpa would say was ‘gurnisht’ (read: nothing.)
As late as October 2019, Hillary was still referring to Trump as an ‘illegitimate’ President. She probably would have continued yapping along those lines, but I suspect that, at some point, Joe told her to shut the f*ck up.
The only difference between Hillary’s ‘big lie’ and ‘stop the steal’ was that Trump continued to campaign for President after he lost the election last year. But I don’t see any other difference between the reactions of two losers – Hillary or Trump.
The difference is the degree to which the Fake News media gave Hillary a free pass on her claims about how the election was stolen from here. That’s a pass that thanks to January 6th, Trump will never receive.
In the words of Hillary Clinton in January 2013 responding to Sen. Ron Johnson questioning on the Benghazi attack, "What difference, at this point, does it make?"
Hillary Clinton is a loser, has always been a loser, and will always be a loser. As for now, I would say the same thing...What difference, at this point, does it make?
We are in very dangerous time, and it was pointed out by our Vice-President comparing Jan. 6 to 9/11 and Pearl Harbor. Even on MSNBC, Craig Melvins Report, their historian Douglas Brinkley compared the January 6 festivities to the Holocaust.
We need to take action now. The 2024 elections are just under 3-years away, and there's work that needs to b…
